Ryan Tyler Heisey, 22 of Mechanicsburg, was first spotted going at a high rate of speed on the Harrisburg Expressway/PA 581 West around midnight on Monday, March 25, Corporal Costello detailed in a release the following morning.
Starting at mile marker four, PSP troopers from Harrisburg began to pursue a 2011 silver Infiniti G37 "reaching speeds over 130 miles per hour," as stated in the release.
The troopers involved in the chase were able to get Heisey's license plate number so when they terminated the pursuit, they could still track him down — which they did with the assistance of PSP Carlisle and the Silver Spring Township police.
Heisey was charged with the following according to court records:
- Felony Fleeing or Attempting to Elude an Officer.
- Misdemeanor Resisting Arrest or Other Law Enforcement.
- Summary Reckless Driving.
- Summary Driving Without Lights to Avoid Identification or Arrest.
- Summary Careless Driving.
- Summary Exceeds 55 MPH in Other Local By 133 MPH.

His bail was set at $3,000 by Judge Kathryn H. Silcox at his 7 a.m. preliminary arraignment on March 25. His preliminary hearing is set before Magisterial District Judge Michael Sanderson at 11:15 a.m. on April 3, according to his court docket.
Corporal Costello continues to investigate this incident.
